The Malta Developers Association organised a summer get together for all members from its different sections, with proceeds going towards the Malta Trust Foundation. Held at Aqualuna Lido on Gzira Seafront, a sizeable crowd of more than 300 people, got to catch up with each other and enjoy live performances from Fabirizio and Claudia Faniello, Kurt Calleja and Aidan.
In a brief speech, MDA President Michael Stivala thanked the guests for their attendance and the numerous sponsors for their support in making the event possible. He explained how the MDA has been, still is and always will be, putting forward positive ideas of how the industry can support Malta’s economy and create more jobs. He highlighted the Association’s substantial growth over the years and its diversification to include various other important sectors, saying, “this event is testament to this continued growth”. Stivala also thanked Honorary MDA President Sandro Chetcuti, for leaving the Association with his proud legacy, and promised his members that in the face of challenges ahead, he and his council will continue being there for them.
In a few words addressing those present, Her Excellency Marie Louise Colerio Preca, Chair of the Malta Trust Foundation, spoke about some of the Foundation’s work, and also joined Mr Stivala in thanking the guests and sponsors.
