The Malta Developers Association (MDA) advances responsible, sustainable development that creates jobs and benefits the communities in which its members work and live. As a responsible corporate citizen, we actively engage in various CSR initiatives aimed at contributing to the well-being of the communities we operate in. These initiatives include environmental sustainability and community engagement and development, as well as ethical business practices.
MDA monitors and ensures its own compliance with laws, ethical standards and international norms and integrates social, environmental, and consumer concerns into our business operations and core strategies in close collaboration with our stakeholders.
MDA wants to be responsive, respected and relevant in partnering with the state and national policies to further improve the quality of life in Malta and Gozo. Broadly speaking, our CSR activity falls under four main areas as follows:
Environmental Sustainability: We recognise the urgent need to protect our planet. Through sustainable practices and initiatives, we aim to reduce the environmental footprint of our industry with our main goal being to leave a cleaner, greener world for future generations.
Community Development: We invest in the communities where we operate. This includes supporting local education, healthcare, and economic development projects. By empowering our community, we aim to create a ripple effect of positive change.
Ethical Business Practices: Integrity is at the core of our operations. We uphold the highest ethical standards in all our dealings, ensuring transparency, fairness, and accountability.
Member Engagement: We exist for our members and for this reason, we encourage active participation in CSR activities to foster a sense of purpose and social responsibility among our members.
