MDA insists its Budget proposals as agreed before general election

The Malta Developers Association presented a substantial document with concrete proposals for Budget 2018, some of which can be implemented immediately.

MDA President Sandro Chetcuti, who headed a delegation of Council members, augured that the Prime Minister and his Government would continue to achieve further progress and success in its endeavours to take the country to the next level. He praised Government’s initiatives that have truly brought the best of times in terms of employment and a booming economy.

Both PN leadership contenders request meeting with MDA

The two Nationalist Party leadership contenders, Dr Adrian Delia and Dr Chris Said, held separate meetings with the Malta Developers Association Council. The meetings, held at the request of the two candidates, turned out to be two long, fruitful discussions.

Both Dr Delia and Dr Said acknowledged the good work of the MDA and its highly valid contribution to the country.

MDA congratulates Labour Party

The Malta Developers Association congratulates Prime Minister Joseph Muscat and the Labour Party for its electoral victory, which indicates that the new Government has a clear mandate to continue implementing the economic policy it has pursued successfully for the past four years.

The MDA declares that it is prepared to continue to give its support for these policies aimed mainly at continuing to create wealth that reaches everyone.

Lastly, the MDA also notes that the Opposition, with political maturity, immediately acknowledged the Labour Party victory. This continues to augur well, not only for democracy in the country, but also for continuity in all that is being implemented as well as in increasing wealth which, doubtlessly, is what all the political forces in the country would wish for.

 L-MDA tifraħ lill-Partit Laburista

Il-Malta Developers Association (MDA) tifraħ lill-Prim Ministru Joseph Muscat u lill-Partit Laburista tar-riżultat elettorali, li jindika li l-Gvern li jmiss għandu mandat ċar biex ikompli bil-politika ekonomika li kellna dawn l-aħħar erbgħa snin.

L-MDA tiddikjara li lesta tkompli tagħti l-appoġġ tagħha għal din ix-xorta ta’ politika bil-għan prinċipali li l-ġid ikompli jikber u li jilħaq lil kulħadd.

Fl-aħħar nett, l-MDA tinnota ukoll kif l-Oppożizzjoni, b’maturità politika, mill-ewwel ikkonċediet ir-rebħa lill-Partit Laburista. Dan ikompli jawgura tajjeb, mhux biss għad-demokrazija f’pajjiżna, iżda wkoll sabiex ikun hemm kontinwità fix-xogħol u t-tkattir tal-ġid li, mingħajr ebda dubju, hija x-xewqa tal-forzi politiċi kollha ta’ pajjiżna.
